Chewy Chocolate Chip and Toffee Bit Cookies

Ingredients
2/3 cup | Butter, melted |
2 cups | Brown Sugar, lightly packed |
2 ea. | Eggs, slightly beaten |
2 tbsp. | Hot Water |
2 2/3 cups | All Purpose Flour |
1 tsp. | Baking Powder |
1 tsp. | Baking Soda |
1/4 tsp. | Salt |
1 pkg. | Milk Chocolate Chips |
1 cup | Toffee bits |
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Beat melted butter, brown sugar, eggs and hot water until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add into butter mixture; stir until well incorporated.
Stir in milk chocolate chips and toffee bits.
Drop from small tablespoon onto ungreased, parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool 1 minute; remove to wire rack.

Makes approx. 5 dozen cookies.
Variety can be added to this recipe by changing up or adding other types of chips and bits into the dough - for example, butterscotch chips, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, M&M's, Reese's Pieces, peppermint candy bits, etc.
