Butter Tart Squares

Ingredients
Base
1 1/2 cup | Butter, softened |
1/2 cup | Brown Sugar |
2 cups | Flour |
Filling
2/3 cup | Butter |
2 cups | Brown Sugar |
2 1/2 Tbsp | Flour |
2 ea. | Eggs, beaten |
4 Tbsp | Milk |
1 Tsp | Vanilla |
Preparation
Prepare Base
Cream butter and sugar, then mix in the flour.
Pat mixture down in a 9“ square cake pan.
Bake in 350° oven for 15 minutes.
Let cool.
Prepare Filling
Cream together butter, sugar, and flour.
Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
Pour on top of base.
Bake in 350° oven for 30-35 minutes.
Let cool to room temperature then cut into squares.
