Easy Excellent Pie Crust

Ingredients
4 1/2 cups | All Purpose Flour |
1 Tbsp. | Baking Powder |
1 Tbsp. | Sugar |
1 1/2 tsp. | Salt |
1 lb.(2 cups) | Vegetable Shortening |
1 cup | Ice Cold Water |
Preparation
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl; mix well.
Add vegetable shortening to dry mixture; cut in with a pastry cutter or a fork until an even textured crumble forms.
Add water to crust mixture and mix until the water is evenly mixed and absorbed. Do not overmix, so as to avoid gluten formation.
Place crust in a zip-lock bag and refrigerate until needed, minimum 30 minutes.
